Meet your Instructor

JJ, the owner and senior instructor of Little Composers Academy and El Segundo Arts Academy, leads two specialized schools focusing on music education for children as young as 4 years old up through high school seniors. For the past t 10 years, these academies have proudly served the South Bay of Los Angeles, nurturing young musicians and fostering a love for music.

In addition to his role as an educator, JJ is also a composer who writes music for TV shows, commercials, films, and video games. His music has been featured in various channels, including CBS, HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and The History Channel, among many others worldwide. You can also hear his works in commercials for renowned brands like Nescafé Taster’s Choice, McDonald’s, Kanband Pad, and Carrefour.

JJ’s academic and professional achievements underscore his talent and dedication. He earned his Film Scoring degree with distinction from UCLA and is a former participant in the prestigious Mentorship of The Society of Composers and Lyricists in Los Angeles.
